Head to Toe opened its doors in 1990, a small two stylist and two beauty therapist salon under one roof, in Wootton, Boars Hill, Oxford.
Started by Hayley May, a new style of hair and beauty salon was born where the quality of the surroundings and the service was just as important as the treatments, a fresh approach in an industry that was a little sluggish in moving forward.
In 1993, the opportunity to expand the business by taking over the next door shop and doubling the area was presented, and Angus Rock, Hayleys by then husband, joined the business to oversee the rapid growth, and to oversee the commercial aspect of the business as Hayley continued to focus on all the hands on aspects.
From a small village salon Head to Toe has grown to boast a five star rating, and fourteen styling positions with a dedicated backwash room and five beauty therapy rooms offering what is believed to be the largest hair and beauty salon under one roof in Oxfordshire. Our reputation brings clients from as far away as the south coast, and the breadth of Oxfordshire, as well as the very local.
Spa Salon
We continue to push the boundaries of hair and beauty. Our Spa Salon operates just as a normal hair or beauty salon would on the high street, but with the feel and twist and relaxation of a day spa. We focus on the whole experience of your visit; it should be relaxed, friendly, and comfortable and create a sense of wellbeing. We don't employ Prima Donnas at Head to Toe, we employ highly skilled, client focused, friendly professionals who understand that the highest compliment you can pay them is to continue to return and recommend your friends to come too.
VIP's and VIP rooms
Yes we have VIP's visit the salon, because all of our clients are very important people, and so the whole salon is a VIP room. However, our more well know clients are treated as discretely as all of our clients. We warmly welcome you to experience this fresh approach for yourself.
